For the past four days I have been in the city of Johnstown working in and around the city. This trip has been amazing and I've loved every second of it. I am here with 16 other students and leaders and in each and every other person, God has shown like the sun. Every day there are amazing moments that I get to witness and be apart of. On Sunday we arrived with booming spirits and a lot of energy. At the point of arrival we met our Adventures in Mission representative named Pat. She has been a blessing for us here in Johnstown. That night we had worship with Pastor Josh and all of us here saw God in him. He shared a message that impacted all of us in different ways.

The next day, which was Monday, was our first day of work. I, along with 5 other members, went to a farm owned by a man named Mike. We did our usual things like weed whacking and trimming trees, but at the end Mike asked us to share our salvation story to where we are today. In each story I saw God in the teller. We each had different stories but amazingly they all brought us to where we are today and on this mission trip. On Tuesday, I and 11 others went to a goat farm owned by a family. God flourished in Ben and Rachel, the owners, who so greatly accepted and appreciated us there. They and their family were so nice to us. Finally, on Wednesday, the entire group went to a third farm. I personally worked to clear an area for a fence. There I saw the determination of the other group members in full swing, especially one member who worked and worked to cut down a tree. It was really amazing to see him work and accomplish that task. 

After this experience in Johnstown, I hope to make a difference in my own community and I hope the other members of my group do the same.
