My name is Dan and I come from Eastern Pennsylvania and I came for a week of experience with a group of my friends with a mission trip group.  This was my third mission trip and first one close to home. It was decided a while back I wanted to go with this trip with my group to do some work for people involved in hard times and the stress of daily life. The Lord was calling and expected me to be at this place. What was awesome was being able to see and arrive at the location even after a pretty what felt like a “Long drive” to point B.

The town I thought in the beginning was something I could deal with and it wasn’t going to be something I would like. Well, after I got to be able to work on my job site with my special group of individuals and with the same leader three years in a row. Yes, I thank God for that!

I got to meet Terry and Connie of the Crucified Ministries. They needed a lot of work done, specifically with the pavement and do work with the stone walls and dry wall in the bathroom. Thankfully it was mostly very easy stuff we completed in a few short days. I also did work on the farm with Rachel for one day and it was a fun experience to see the countryside of PA. Doing all this work was important to not only the improvement of all the hard labor they had to go through, but to be able to explore all the different parts of Johnstown.

All the events afterwards were very special and I want to send a big thank you to all the folks who participated and were very open to let my own group comes along for the ride. I want to say your organization is awesome and I hope others will be able to come to you all for years to come.
