Some Kingdom Dreams being pursued in Johnstown
Life Over Death Skate Church
Church meets Tuesday nights over a casket factory on the outskirts of town. You won't see a steeple or pews, your won't hear worship music, no offering will be taken. You will see skateboarders, BMX bikers and in line skaters hitting the ramps and half pipes and many other who have no interest in such things but come for the love and acceptance they feel ther and simply because that is their church. Most people who come to this church would never darken the dorrs of a traditional church. There is always a challenging relevant Bible lesson followed by everyone circling up for prayer.
Crucified Ministries Church
Church meets Sunday nights, great worship band, watch out for the air mattresses in the aisle as this is also where some of you will be sleeping. When Josh went to buy his first home a few years ago they informed him that the church next door would be thrown in for free as part of the deal – God's way of telling him He wanted him to start a church.. You may be able to take part in the worship service if you let us know ahead of time.
The Colver Youth Project
Sounds like a creepy science project, and you may still think that when you get the tour of this former hospital, by flashlight as the electric has not been hooked up for years. The outdated medical equipment will add to the affect. This is Jeremy's first home, and he plans on turning it into a youth drop in center with your help. He sent the owner a letter about his dreams for the building with his offer of $30,000 for the acereage and the 9000 square foot hospital on it. Within hours of receiving the letter the owner said God is real and we accept your offer.
