Monday afternoon we had our second ATL where we waited on the Lord to speak to us as to where he wanted us to go. As group sat before the Lord, Psalm 46:10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Tim felt the Lord was saying it’s time to get out of my comfort zone, Tate was impressed with a picture of water, and Maddy after reading a few scriptures was impressed with the word lion.  After 20 minutes Danno’s group headed north down Maple ave for their pray walk. They stopped at several homes and prayed for the residence who wanted, until they came to Bernie’s home.

Bernie had just finished praying for help when Pastor Danno’s ATL  pray group showed up at her door. And they asked her if she needed pray for anything.

She was hesitant at first to tell what was going in her house. But she told them the basement had flooded from all the rain from that week and her husband was out of town. Pastor Danno offer to help.  Faith, Carla, Lucy, Tate, Christian and Danno took on the task of cleaning up the tremendous amount of water which had flooded the basement. They originally thought the floor was black, but it was really yellow when the finally got to the bottom.

While the others in youth group participants were upstairs building relationships with Bernie’s family members, it was made know that she was a member of the Franklin Street Methodist Church in Johnstown.  They called Pastor Josh over from Crucified Church to bring over some wet vacs.

Bernie’s house had a basement filled with water, a picture of a lion on her living room wall, and the scripture be still and know that I am God.  Which confirms the Lord assigned his servants to be His hands and feet that day to be answer to pray. Where have you been assigned to a blessing today?

John 15:13-15 13Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14You are my friends if you do what I command. 15I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

The Lord will make known His will, if you are willing to get out of your comfort zone.  This was First United Methodist Church of Crown Point of IN, first ATL and God used them to do His business.  Praise God for He worthy to be praised, in all the glorious things that he does for us. We should give thanks to Him in everything that we do.
