Two multi-generational teams from Delaware and New Jersey, combined to serve the Lord in Johnstown, PA at Crucified Ministries (Josh, Connie, and Terry Knipple).
We planted a garden, herded goats, skinned trees for fence posts, and helped pick raspberries at Dorothy’s Willow Tree Farm.
Older adult participants served at a clothing closet and food pantry at a local church. We passed out fresh baked goods in the park, during the “Music in the Park” lunch hour.
Guys helped with demolition of an older house that Paula plans to turn into a rehab home for recovering female drug addicts.
All of us served the Crucified Ministries Church by weeding, cutting the grass, trimming bushes, and using the weedeater. Then we enjoyed serving a meal and interacting with the homeless at the “Meal for the Broken” in downtown Johnstown.
