What is a Chicken Tractor??
It is a portable chicken coop set in the field so that chickens can eat bugs and greens while fertilizing the grass. When the chickens need more bugs and greens the "chicken tractor" can be moved to another part of the field.
When we returned home people asked what we could get done in one day. Our time was limited. However, what is really neat is that the next team arrives and continues the job.
For example, a team before us built 15 chicken tractor frames.
We were then able to spend the day putting chicken wire around new chicken tractors.
